Halloween Spinner Card

I found this really neat spinner card on Gloria's Crafts  blog she made a few spinner cards and I wanted to make my own Halloween spinner card. So here is my version of a spinner card To make this fun card I used the following: A Cricut Gypsy, Wild Card Cartridge, Paper Doll Dress Up,  Everday paperdolls and George and the basic shapes.

I'm going to try my best to make this super easy for you to make your own.

The card is cut out from Wild Card and it is cut out at 7.90 x 5.33 I used the card that is the last one on the second row, it's also the letter p on the alphabet.  I hid everything. Except the card outline and the one little dot below the circle for the brad to go in.

Then I placed my paper doll on the card so I could see where to place it. My paper doll is cut out at 4" You will also need just the head (used from Everyday paperdolls). The 4" as well.  Place just the head on the card and move the whole body, This way when the card is cut out their is a hole for the head.

Then cut out the rest of the clothing or what ever acessories you need for your doll.

The Cirlce is cut out from George and Basic Shapes ( you could use what ever cartridge you have that makes a nice round circle.  I cut my circle out at 3.80"  Then poke a hole in the center, this is for the brad to go through.

Here is a photo of my cutting mat, so you can see how everything was cut

Then I used my peachy keen stamps and stamped the faces on going around the circle.

Here is a photo of the inside of the card with the Circle attached.

Then attach your cirle to the card put the pretty sideof the brad facing in the card.

Decorate your card how ever you want

And glue everything together. Make sure not to glue things to the circle otherwise it won't move :)

Here is the additional faces for this fun card.

If you make your own spinner card leave me a comment with your blog address so I can check it out, l would love to see what you create.

Happy Halloween Plate

I made this cute plate to take some treats to a good friend of mine. I found this fun plate that has the orange glow and thought it would be super fun for a haunted house, so that it looked like the windows were glowing.  I used black vinyl and the house is cut out from Paper Doll Dress Up ( I needed a very simple haunted house) it's 6.75" And the letters are from Blackletter. Love this font for Halloween, I think this is the first time I have used the font. :) I think it turned out cute, now to make the cookies to go on top.

Here are a couple additional before pictures of this project

This is a Christmas card I made for Christmas in July.

The Four cartridges I used were George and Basic Shapes for the star  it's .5" For the background flourishes I used Gypsy Wanderings the large one is 4.75" and the small one is 3.5".  The Christmas tree is from Paper Doll Dress Up and it is 2.25" For the card I used Just because cards and it is 5.5 inches square.  (I did have to Morph it to make square). For the red background I cut out a second card at 4.25 and then cut off were the score lines were.
