Mommy's Monsters

For the next couple weeks I'm going to try and inspire you for one National Scrapbook Month and also for Mothers Day!  Hope you get inspired to make some fun Mother's Layouts of your own.  For this first one I made for a mom who has little boys. I have two little boy's and as you all know some times little boys are as sweet as can be and other days they are truly monsters :)

For this layout I used Mini monsters and Type Candy Cartridges.

The monsters are cut out at 4" I didn't use all the layers.  The Mommy's Monsters is cut out at 1.87" Using the Better than Chocolate font, it also has the shadow.  I welded the shadow feature together, it made it a lot easier when gluing it on the page to keep everything in line.

Check back tomorrow I will have another layout for you.

The Card is cut from Mini Monsters and it is cut out at 6.5" on a 12 x 24 sheet of paper.  The haunted house is also from Mini monsters and cut out at 6.5"

The Happy Halloween is cut out from Mini monsters as well at  3.5"

Frankenstein is from Paper Dolls Dress up and cut out at 4" So is the trick or treat bag, I did use they gypsy to hide the trick or treat from the image and stamped it instead.

The grass and the moon are cut out from Create a critter at 2.25"

A Little Batty

This is a super easy fast Halloween card I made using Mini Monsters and Paper Dolls Dress Up.

The overall size of this card is 4 x 6 The bats are cut out at 6.25 from Paper Dolls Dress UP and a Little Batty is cut out at 3" from Mini Monsters. Then I used peachy keen stamps for the bat faces and black Stickles to the bats.

Spider Card

For this fun spider card I used the  Mini Monsters Cartridge. I cut to spiders at 1.5" and one at 2".  I cut the body part twice and glued them together except the legs. Then I used my pen and curled the legs going out on each side, so the spiders don't lay flat on the card. I attached them to a string and hung the string from the top.  of the card.  So when you move the card it looks and sounds like little spidders moving :)  Here is a side view so you can see how the spders sit on the card.
